Safety
Serious medicine requires serious honesty
This page exists so you can decide whether to inquire — not to sell you certainty you can’t have.
What Clear Ibogaine is
A planned medically supervised residential intensive in Baja California, Mexico, with a designed post-return integration window (about 90 days). Founding cohort intake is open now; residential dates are assigned by cohort capacity.
What it is not
- Not FDA-approved treatment for addiction in the United States
- Not a cure guarantee or “cravings gone forever” promise
- Not emergency care or crisis hotline service
- Not available to everyone who applies
- Not a popularity contest or viral fundraising ranking for beds
Risks (plain language)
Ibogaine can affect the heart and nervous system. People have been harmed; some have died in poorly screened or poorly monitored settings. Cardiac history, certain medications, electrolyte imbalance, and other factors can raise risk. Outcomes vary widely. Relapse can still happen. Mental health can worsen for some people. This is not exhaustive medical advice.
Screening
We require medical and psychiatric review before travel. Expect questions about substances, prior treatment, heart history, medications, mental health, and support at home. We will decline when risk is too high. Declination is a safety decision.
Who often is not a fit
Examples (not a complete list): significant uncontrolled cardiac disease, certain drug interactions, inability to complete screening, no aftercare support plan, active medical instability, or situations where a different level of care is safer. Final determination is clinical — not marketing.
Claims we will not make on this site
- Unsupported success percentages or “neurological reset” as proven fact
- “ICU-level” staffing/equipment language until verified and true for the operating setup
- Fake staff names, licenses, phones, or facility certifications
- Implying U.S. regulatory approval
Documentary (Watch The Clearing)
Optional. Separate consent. Private zones. Stop-filming authority for you and clinical lead. Treatment-only applicants remain eligible for clinical review.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call local emergency services now. In the U.S., you can also dial 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Do not wait on our application form.
